EPFS Homecooks and Entrepreneurs Fair

The EPFS community is organising its first ever charity event, the EPFS Homecooks and Entrepreneurs Fair. The event aims at focusing on home based cooks, bakers, clothing vendors, crafts and more. The event is to be held on the 13th of August, 2017 (Sunday) at the Shalika Hall on Park Road from 10am – 4pm.

The stalls will feature a wide variety of local foods, sweets, home-baked goodies, a variety of spices, art & crafts, handmade clothing and much more. Some of the wares include a variety of sumptuous cooked foods by Wayne’s Junction, chutneys and pickles by Jars, healthy salads by Coco Republic, jewellery and watches by Sparkles and Splendor to name just a few.

“I am absolutely passionate about supporting entrepreneurs and small businesses,” says Michael Moonesinghe, founder of the EPFS Community. “This first Home Cooks & Entrepreneurs Fair helps gives our vendors such a great and affordable opportunity to showcase their products and services, plus help support the charities we support.”

The EPFS Home Cooks & Entrepreneurs Fair aims to support small home businesses and entrepreneurs by providing them with a platform to promote their goods and services and at the same time, continue to support the EPFS Community’s charities and worthy causes. Vendors will be free to make a voluntary donation to the group’s charity fund based on how successful the fair has been for them; entrance will also be by a voluntary donation.
